Diaphragm Compressors for High-Purity applications
Diaphragm compressors compress gases and gas mixtures without lubricants or technical abrasion. Because they operate without external leakage, they are particularly suitable for high-purity applications and for use with explosive, toxic, and expensive gases. Our diaphragm compressors compress, for example, hydrogen , helium, argon, ethylene, fluorine, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, monosilane, or nitrogen trifluoride.
Our diaphragm compressors are typically used for applications such as filling storage tanks, feeding into continuous processes, or as recirculating gas compressors. They are distinguished by their sophisticated design details, which make the machines particularly safe, reliable, and easy to maintain. We generally supply our diaphragm compressors as complete units including a base frame, drive, pulsation dampers, coolers, valves (automatic or manual), instruments, and control system (optional). However, we also offer diaphragm compressors without peripherals for installation in your system. All Diaphragm compressors undergo a load test run at our factory, during which the operating data is recorded and documented.

FEATURES AT A GLANCE
Oil-free compression through hermetic separation between gas and oil space
Technically abrasion-free compression due to static seals in the gas flow
technically leak-free
Purge and sealing gas not required
Long service life thanks to hydraulically moved diaphragm, no mechanical linkage.
good cooling via large membrane head surface
Cooling coil in the oil chamber of the cylinder head; no weakening of the cover due to cooling channels.
Automatic shutdown in case of membrane rupture ensures protection against consequential damage
Final pressure up to 3,000 bar
Pressure ratio per stage up to 7
up to 4 stages on one engine
Mass compensation for foundation-free installation
Low wear and smooth running due to low piston speeds
Water cooling offers the best cooling performance and low noise pressure level.
Design in accordance with EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC. Standards applied: DIN EN 1012 Part 1, DIN EN 12100 Part 1, DIN EN 60204 Part 1, etc.
Possibly explosion-proof in accordance with Directive 2014/34/EU
